Scope of works: The landfill is shaped according to the engineers drawings of the final contours to reduce the steepness of the slopes to below a ratio of 1:3. This includes the removal and stockpiling of the existing temporary cover material, excavating into waste material and filling and compacting this waste onto other portions of the landfill. The entire landfill will be covered with a low permeability layer.
