Scope of works : It was identified that the Goue Akker Cemetery needed expansion due to an imminent shortage of available burial space. The works constructed under this tender were as follows:

• +/- 3410m of gravel roads within a 10m road reserve
• Site clearance
• +/- 2030m of in-situ stormwater channeling, plus the construction of a detention area with a 23+/- in-situ stormwater outlet channel
• +/- 110m of sewerage reticulation of 110mm diameter
• Water & sewer connections to 1 ablution/caretaker facility
• Construction of the ablution/caretaker facility
• Earthworks and platforms for grave sites
• Ancillary road works
• +/- 600m of precast reinforced concrete palisade fencing
