    Founded by Graham Jones in 1982, Amandla Construction rapidly developed a reputation for professional, reliable, and personal service. In 2007, rapid growth spurred our transformation into a leading B-BBEE company.

    We support the intention and spirit of transformation and are proud of our empowerment credentials. Amandla Construction is a Level One contributor on the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment scorecard, and we endeavour to explicitly integrate the principles in our business.

    With 40 years’ experience, we have an impressive portfolio of contracts ranging up to R200 million. A number of these projects were successful joint ventures.

    EMPOWERMENT & B-BBEE
    Amandla Construction is proud of its empowerment credentials as a Level One B-BBEE contributor.
    We are dedicated to transformation within our company and the construction industry, and are active in skills development, socio-economic development, and supplier development initiatives. We provide several learnerships in civil engineering to our employees and other individuals from disadvantaged groups, as well as bursaries for tertiary education in civil engineering. Sponsorships designed to advance under-represented groups in the construction industry, including woman and disabled individuals, are also offered. Amandla Construction works with the Go for Gold organisation, which addresses skills shortages and assists scholars who are interested in pursuing careers in the construction industry. We provide sponsorships, mentorships, and leadership development to Grade 11 and 12 scholars and offer 12-month internships to matriculants. Our supplier development plans assist smaller companies in their advancement in the construction industry. These initiatives include specialised training, financial management assistance, human resources training, subsidised purchasing assistance and plant equipment rental.
