Scope of works : The rehabilitation of Tafelberg Road which serves as the main access to Table Mountain Nature Reserve and the cableway; construction starts at the intersection with Kloofnek Road and ends near the lower cableway station

• Rehabilitation of the existing pavement base layer and wearing course.
• The resurfacing and upgrade of pre-existing parking facilities.
• Construction of several block paved sidewalks and a pedestrian walkway built of timber.
• The rehabilitation of sub-soil drainage and stormwater infrastructure.
• Construction of new brick, concrete and stone clad retaining walls as well as rehabilitation of barrier structures.
• Building of a new gabion retaining structure with a concrete barrier wall.
• Rehabilitation of existing sewer pipelines and installation of a pulled in CIPP lining.
